It's been a while, but now there's finally something truly interesting to discuss, connect over, and explore together. Over the past two years, we at FM have been working tirelessly on Generative AI. It's been a frustrating, time-consuming, and challenging journey, but now we’re seeing the first real result: a 100% AI-generated short film. Initially produced to test our pipelines and skills, it has evolved into something we are truly proud to share.
This journey has involved multiple professionals, dispelling the common misconception that AI-generated content requires less human expertise. Above all, it has taught us that without strong professional guidance—such as original writing, direction, cinematography, editing, acting skills, and top-tier post-production—none of this would have been possible.

The third edition of GEN48, the 48-hour AI short film competition from Runway, concluded yesterday. Our focus was on crafting a highly photorealistic, dystopian, and claustrophobic experience, both stylistically and cinematically. I'm excited to share some of the scenes that resonated with me the most.
A huge thank you to the entire FM team and to Marco Spanò, an exceptional cinematographer, who bravely joined us on this wild adventure. His involvement reaffirms that, while AI is a powerful tool, it takes true expertise and talent to guide and shape it into something extraordinary. No AI product can succeed without the skilled hands and creative vision behind it.
Action Dad
Action Dad, created for a film festival competition and selected as a finalist in Neue film Festival in Los Angeles! 🎬 The brief was too good to pass up, taking us back to the '90s—a time when we all dreamed of being the perfect superhero, inspired by the larger-than-life Action Man.
But as we’ve grown older, we’ve come to realize that true heroism isn’t about capes or superpowers. It’s found in the everyday: juggling responsibilities, conquering life’s small struggles, and showing up for the people we care about.
Action Dad embodies this idea—imperfect yet undeniably heroic. Whether it’s assembling flat-pack furniture without instructions, enduring summer heat with a laid-back charm, or balancing work and family, he’s proof that being an everyday hero is just as meaningful (and often way funnier) than the fantasies we once admired.
This project is a heartfelt celebration of the average guy and the quiet heroism in the everyday. Heroism isn’t about perfection—it’s about love, persistence, and laughing at life’s curveballs.
Be honest, who can relate?
